Here's How to Get Involved!
Fundraising through Farming
We are providing the opportunity where local kids in Palm Beach County and their family and friends, schools or churches, can grow potted plants to sell and raise funds for kids to attend school in Haiti like they do. Consequently, this act of kindness teaches our kids many valuable lessons such as giving, cooperation, and knowledge on planting. They also learn how with a little hard work and time they can earn profits.
The first crop that Kids for Kids demonstrates with our donors is committed to the kids in Haiti. After that crop has been sold, donors may repeat this program as often as they like for any cause they choose. The best part of this program is that you only have to provide the space needed to grow...we provide all the rest including the plants, soil, and pots to get started. Now, let us get to growing!
Family Sponsorship Program
We are committed to empowering highly capable local Haitian leaders and families, who care for orphans and vulnerable children to break the cycle of extreme poverty and transform communities.
Your sponsorship provides a Christian education for children who would otherwise not have an one at all. Each sponsored child would attend class fives day a week. Plus, your generous sponsorship would provide for teachers' salaries, text books, computer equipment, software, shoes, clothing, a home, and one hot meal for lunch. The lunch you help us provide may be the only meal they receive all day.
Help Build a Home
Kids for Kids' mission is to help children receive a place to call home. When you donate your time, money, or resources to this project you're helping to provide a place where less fortunate children can gain the knowledge and wisdom they need to improve their lives and their communities for generations to come. Donating to this project will provide for the labor and materials necessary to build a home for this family.
Our Future Goals:
1. Finish construction on our family's home
2. Provide beds, furniture, pots, and household items
3. Fill the existing cistern with water
4. Build a chicken coop for eggs to sell and eat. This will provide sustainable income and food. The children can care for the chickens with supervision.
5. Provide yearly medical checkups for kids at the local Doctor
